The County is once again trying to allow large commercial cannabis operations in our valley—and while your property may not be impacted today, you could be the next victim to the noise, the carcinogenic odors, increased traffic, criminality and the visual blight these commercial operations bring. Take a look at what has happened to Santa Barbara County.
We urge all Bennett Valley residents who care about preserving our tranquil rural character to please attend the December 13th meeting and speak up during public comments. We must fight hard now to protect Bennett Valley from this potential scourge.
These are fundamentally different operations from vineyards, very disruptive to your property rights, and will completely change the rural character of Bennett Valley if allowed to multiply beyond the one problem site we already have.
