BVCA is starting a voluntary Well Monitoring Program to learn the dynamics of the aquifers we rely on to keep our wells productive. Volunteer BVCA members will conduct static water level soundings of local wells. The data collected will aid the property owners, and will also contribute to the county’s water supply knowledge-base for our area, which has not been accurately assessed since 1980.

But! Before we can start measuring wells (10 wells have volunteered already), we need the equipment. We are seeking ~ $1200 for the meter and it’s maintenance. Your tax-deductible donation in any amount will get this project off (or under) the ground. Your donations will go into a dedicated Well Monitoring Equipment Fund.
