The Park Board has extended the public comment period until November 18 for the North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park. The BVCA is encouraging all residents to comment on the plan. These comments are a crucial part of community input. Please use the link or email address below to have your voice heard - and please spread the word to your neighbors.

The BVCA board of directors has unanimously voted to oppose the Park Board's plans for the North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park. While there are aspects many support, including increased trails and dedicated dog trails, The BVCA has focused it's opposition to 4 key elements of the park board proposals, based on feedback from nearby residents:
· No overnight stays
· No fires, including BBQ facilities
· Day use only
· Environmental impact study (including fire safety, road evacuations etc)
We are encouraging all residents in Bennett Valley and nearby to participate by submitting comments to the Park Board link or email below. See link of community group’s summary.
