County Solicits Comments on Proposed
Three Sticks Winery at 6250 Pressley Road

Permit Sonoma has issued a notice concerning an application for a Use Permit and Design Review for a new 25,000 case, 50,000 square foot winery on a 235-acre parcel at 6250 Pressley Road. It is about one-half mile north of the Intersection with Lichau Road and will operate seven days per week. The winery will not operate a drive by "open-to-the-public" style retail tasting room. It will accommodate group tastings for trade accounts, industry tastings, and wine club members.

This property is just outside the Bennett Valley Area Plan. We are providing this information because BVCA residents may be interested in this project. The planning application and related reports are too large to attach, but can be found on the BVCA web site under Proposals Affecting Bennett Valley:

If you wish to file comments, the deadline has been set for March 8.

Permit Sonoma solicits comments on any of the following issues:
(1) statement of any environmental concerns or uncertainties with the project;
(2) any comments regarding the merits of the project; and
(3) your proposed conditions and mitigations for this project.

Comments should be sent to Gary Helfrich (Gary.Helfrich@sonoma-county.org; 707-565-2404).
