Welcome Summer
Summer has arrived and Bennett Valley is beautiful. The record amount of rainfall this winter provided our plants and trees with the water they so desperately needed after enduring several years of drought. However, with record rain comes an excess of weeds and vegetation that’s now drying out in the warmer summer months. In this issue, our Bennett Valley Fire District provides us with timely recommendations on creating defensible space around our properties.
In this issue, you’ll also see information on our July 20 Bennett Valley Reptiles and Amphibians talk by Jeanne Wirka, an update on our local road repairs, an article on the new Bennett Valley Grape Growers welcoming signs going up soon, and more. Have a great summer!.
