Bennett Valley Home Break In

On Friday, August 12, during mid-day, a home between Bennett Ridge and Grange Road was broken into by a single intruder who may have been armed.

No one was home but the residence has an advanced surveillance system that alerted the homeowner.  The homeowner watched with a surveillance camera while the robbery was underway.

The property has a locked entrance gate and the intruder did not enter through the main gate.

The intruder was short, wiry, slim and agile.  He is described as handsome with short dark hair and a clear complexion.  He wore a light sweatshirt and jeans.

The homeowner believes that the intruder may have known the property and may have had an accomplice.

The sheriffs responded and conducted a 5 hour search using dogs but so far no arrest has been made.
