Memo From The Board
The BVHA would like to thank those residents who responded to our memberreminder and re-joined. welcome to the new members which has brought our roster close to 200 houseUpdate: 4630 Pressley Road proposed rezoning County Supervisors supported the BVHA position and denied this request. Update: Votruba winery 4850 Peracca Road on a split vote the BVHA supported a property down-zoning to accomodate the 1,000 case winery application.
On May 24, the county Supervisors approved the request. The Votruba's have been making home wine for some time at this location and wish to become a bonded winery. The BVHA stipulated that the small site would not be appropriate for tasting, on-site sales, or expansion.
Update: road projects Pressley Ra. S Sonoma Mtn. Rd. We have received bad news from the county road department that the previously approved funds for a of the Pressley Rd. & Sonoma Mountain Rd. intersection been re-directed to higher priority projects. delay will only be temporary.
Bennett Valley Ra. The county has informed the BHA that the straightening of the curves at Matanzas Creek bridge near the golf course will not occur this year. This dangerous stretch of road has long been a concern. Recently, the BVHA Board has . written letters to PG&E & others concerning the road damage caused by heavy equipment on Pressley & Sonoma Mountain Ra.

A Reminder--Homeowner meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at the firehouse. Elections are held during the October meeting to fill the expiring terms of three board members.
